Kia ora,
Thanks for coming all this way. We’re excited you’re thinking about offering an event at our next Climate Action Festival.
Before going further, we invite you to look at our Event Host Information Guide. This Guide aims to give you all the support and information you need to become an “event host” and describe the different ways the Nelson Tasman Climate Forum can help you in shaping your event. Indeed, we have a dedicated budget to help you financially as well as logistically in the building up of your event.
For Climate Action Festival event registrations to be accepted and added to the 2024 programme, the event should be aligned with the Nelson Tasman Climate Festival purpose, which is to inspire community around sustainable, low emissions activities.
Also,
1. For your event to be considered for inclusion into the printed marketing, an online registration form should be submitted by the closing date of 16/04/2024 (see registration form below). Please submit a separate form for each unique event you are hosting. However, if the same event repeats on multiple days during the Climate Action Festival, then you only need to fill this form once.
2. Events should be organised by the applying event host.
3. Event hosts agree to be responsible for carrying out health and safety risk assessments (which we can help you with), and will endeavour to align with the Nelson Tasman Climate Forum climate mitigation goals, including minimising waste at your event.
4. Event hosts agree for Nelson Tasman Climate Forum to market their event in the Climate Action Festival 2024 programme and other marketing carried out by the Nelson Tasman Climate Forum.
5. The Climate Action Festival will offer a diverse, innovative and inspiring programme. However, final selection and inclusion in the Climate Action Festival 2024 programme is at the discretion of Nelson Tasman Climate Forum.
If you feel unsure or need some help in creating your event, please reach out (info@ntcf.nz), and we’ll do our best to help you.
