Meet at 49 Douglas Rd., Tahunanui- Working Bee 1pm – 4pm.  Wear sturdy footwear, hat. Bring any of these; secateurs, lobbers, hedge clippers, garden fork, gloves.  Prickle guard gloves provided. Water to drink.

We’ll be walking up to Maire Stream Restoration Area. Cut&Paste the blackberries. Clipping grass and vines around the Wee Food Forest.  Digging out the corms of the Climbing Doc.

This is nature beautiful, peaceful gully  near the top end of Maire Stream who struggles with the silt wash from the development on top of the hills.  We have tons of Events planned this year, and we’re seeking a few passionate individuals looking to donate some time to support our team!  This is Community lead.
