Talk to an Architect and make your project climate friendly
Taking on a new home build or renovation project is a significant journey to embark on – especially when you aspire to make it environmentally friendly! From selecting the ideal site and navigating the “greenwashing” of materials to determining the appropriate size and budget, having guidance from an expert can make all the difference.
To help you plan your climate-friendly build or renovation, we are bringing in some local experts: Join us at the Climate Action Festival for a free consultation with registered architects Magdalena and Mathew from Fineline Architecture. No matter where you are in your project journey and its scale, whether it’s a new build or renovation project, they look forward to answering your questions about:
- site selection
- design and budget,
- renovation versus new build,
- energy efficiency as well as
- genuine green choices, and low-toxicity materials.
With over 20 years of experience in all aspects of architecture, from residential to commercial to hospitality, Magdalena and Mathew have a strong focus and commitment to creating inspiring and innovative spaces using sustainable resources that don’t cost the planet. They recently won a first prize international award for Strawlines, their low-carbon small homes design for Aotearoa. You can find out more about them on their website: finelinearchitecture.co.nz
