Our Maire Stream Guardians/Nurturers have been working on fixing this mess from Developers since 2019. Here is a picture down from the main Maire Stream Restoration Area. Come and see how that has grown. Now vegetation bending over Maire Stream cooling the waters. Giving protection for micro-invertebrates in turn food in the food chain...for Kokopu fish and long finned eels.
